I write Your Focused Five. Five small things, once a week, for people who are already doing plenty.
I started this letter because I kept having the same conversation.
Someone would ask how I stay on top of everything, and I’d start explaining — the notebook, the Sunday reset, the one app I’d finally stopped fighting with — and about four minutes in I’d notice I was giving a workshop nobody asked for. What they actually wanted was one thing they could try that week.
So that’s what this is. Five things, once a week.
I’m the person people ask, and that isn’t something I stumbled into. It’s years of trying things, keeping the few that held up, and quietly dropping the rest. So when something turns up in this letter, it has already been through that — I’ve used it long enough to know how it behaves on a bad week, not just a good one.
That matters most with the recommendations. Plenty of people write about products they’ve never opened. If I put something in front of you, I’ve run it myself, and I’ll tell you what it does well and where it falls down. When there’s an affiliate link I say so right beside it, and being an affiliate is never the reason something is here.
If I’m still in the middle of testing something, you’ll hear that too. “Three weeks in and it’s promising” is a different claim from “this has held up for two years,” and you should know which one you’re getting.
You’re not short on motivation. You’re short on time and clear decisions.
One thing at a time. Take what fits and leave the rest — there’s nothing to sign up to.
Five short things, once a week. If one isn’t for you, skip it — you’ve lost nothing.
Miss one and there’s nothing to catch up on. They don’t build on each other.
Tested first, written about second. Affiliate links are labelled right beside the link, every time.
Come along, then. Every Sunday — and unsubscribe the moment it stops being useful. I’d rather that than have it sit unread in your inbox.
Five small things to help you lead your week with a little more intention.
